Celebrate the screening of your stories

Posted by Andrea Lewis

Join us on Saturday 7 June for a public screening and community celebration of the digital portraits project for Paraburdoo, as you watch your stories come alive in a large outdoor screening. Called 'BELONGINGS Paraburdoo', the work draws on the personal reflections of the community and creates a collective portrait about life in Paraburdoo.

The large visual sculpture of Michael Ingie – which some of you saw several weeks ago outside Rocklea Palms in the early mornings – will be projected again for those of you who missed it.

The celebration event takes place from 6pm – 8pm on the grassed area outside the Rocklea Palms mess. Everyone from the community is invited and there is no cost to attend. Food and refreshments will be provided. Email jacqueline@dadaa.org.au if you would like more information.

Download the full invitation below, and view photographs of test projections that took place around town this week.
